Account Deletion & Data Privacy Policy

At Modaber, we value your privacy and are committed to giving you full control over your personal data. This policy outlines how you can request the deletion of your account and what happens to your data once a request is made.

1. How to Request Account Deletion

You can request to delete your account and all associated data through the following methods:

• Method 1: Via the Web (Recommended for Google Play Compliance)
  To initiate an account deletion request without logging into the app, please click the button below or email us directly.

• Method 2: In-App
  Navigate to your Profile Settings → Account → Delete Account.
• Method 3: Direct Email
  Send an email to info@modaber.online with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and include your registered phone number.

2. Data That Will Be Deleted

Upon processing your deletion request, the following information will be permanently removed from our active databases:

• Your profile information (Name, Email, Phone Number).
• Saved delivery addresses.
• Stored payment preferences (we do not store full card details).
• Your interaction history with our WhatsApp AI assistant.

3. Data Retained for Legal/Operational Reasons

In accordance with Omani law and financial regulations, certain data may be retained for a limited period:

• Transaction Records: History of orders and payments are retained for 7 years to comply with tax and audit requirements.
• Legal Compliance: Data necessary to prevent fraud or resolve disputes.

Note: Retained data will be anonymized and will not be used for marketing purposes.

4. Processing Time

Once a request is submitted, our team will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once the process is finalized.
